Jones: Supervisors on the Right Track to Reopening San Diego County

“It is time to get back to work, to stop being afraid and start living life as it was meant to be lived”

Sacramento, CA – State Senator Brian Jones (R-Santee) today issued the following statement in response to a vote by the San Diego County Board of Supervisors to accelerate the reopening San Diego County:

“I commend the majority of the members of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors for their vote this afternoon to speed up the reopening of our county.

“The last eight weeks have taken a devastating toll on small businesses, their workers and families throughout the region.

“After some prodding by a lot of us, including Supervisors Desmond and Gaspar, the full Board is finally starting to ‘get it.’

“Our battle for control of our own lives is not yet over but at least it’s a start.

“It is time to get back to work, to stop being afraid and start living life as it was meant to be lived.”
