El Cajon – Last night, Senator Brian Jones (R-Santee) and staff members from his offices in El Cajon, Escondido, and the State Capitol participated in a “virtual” (online) holiday open house along with dozens of constituents from East and North San Diego County.
Unlike the Jones’ open house in December 2018, where over 400 people attended the bustling in-person event at his El Cajon District Office, this year’s open house was done online because of the COVID pandemic. Jones and his staff also hosted an in-person “Share the Harvest” open house in November 2019 at the Sonrise Community Church in Santee.
“While we missed seeing everyone in person this year, we still were able to chat with dozens of constituents, assist them with navigating the state bureaucracy, and listen to ideas they have for legislation,” stated Senator Jones. “My entire staff and I are committed to helping our community and state get through these tough times. I wish all the residents of our Senate District safe and happy holidays.”
