I would like to invite you to nominate a nonprofit organization from California State Senate District 40 for the Annual California Nonprofits of the Year. This is an excellent opportunity to honor a deserving nonprofit organization from California’s Senate District 40. Once an honoree is selected as the district nonprofit of the year, there will be a luncheon hosted by California Association of Nonprofits (CalNonprofits) in Sacramento in late May on the Capitol Grounds.
CalNonprofits is a statewide alliance of over 10,000 members that brings nonprofits together to advocate for the communities we serve. Last year, 109 legislators chose nonprofits to honor as their district’s Nonprofit of the Year.

Honorees must have a nonprofit in State Senate District 40 or specifically serving constituents in the Senate District. To confirm that the nonprofit is in State Senate District 40, check here: http://findyourrep.legislature.ca.gov
All submissions will need to be received by the Senator’s office no later than Friday, April 3, 2026, at 5:00PM.
