SENATOR BRIAN W. JONES 40TH STATE SENATE DISTRICT VETERAN OF THE YEAR AWARD NOMINATION

APPLICATION FOR THE 2024 VETERAN OF THE YEAR AWARD!

The recipient of the Veteran of the Year Award will be selected on the basis of a demonstrated commitment to service to the community and dedication to supporting their fellow veterans showing a spirit of excellence.

CRITERIA

  • Must be a veteran of one of the six Armed Forces of the United States, including Reserve or National Guard, or United States Merchant Marine.
  • Nominated Veterans must live within the 40th California State Senate District, https://findyourrep.legislature.ca.gov/

The nomination deadline is October 14, 2024 at 5:00 PM. A panel will review the nominations and Senator Jones will announce the 40th State Senate District Veteran of the Year and Honored Veterans of the District in November followed by a reception for them during the month.
